Green tea is steamed or wok fried after harvest to halt oxidation. It is crisp and refreshing with a delicate vegetal flavor, low in caffeine compared to other teas, and high in cancer preventing antioxidants. Green tea is often compared to a super food containing B-complex, vitamin C, poly phenols and more. White tea is the least processed type of tea. It is air-dried to preserve all its nutrients and antioxidants. Urth’s green and white teas are air shipped fresh from Japan and China all year long. To brew bring water to 170 degrees, or as a Chinese tea apostle called it “Fish eyes” (for small bubbles on the bottom of the pot) and steep for 1 minute only.
