Urth Caffé now proudly offers single farm Silvia Carolina Herrera coffee. A truly unique and one-of-a-kind limited offering. This exceptional coffee is a certified organic natural-process Geisha micro lot from Chiapas Mexico. A very rare coffee and a true micro lot—only a limited amount available! This is a very special and renowned Geisha variety with a perfumed and delicately floral jasmine fragrance. It is a complex and subtle cup with hints of bright limey citrus sweetened with tropical notes of guava, papaya and custard.
Family-owned Nuevo San Luis Farm is nestled in the picturesque municipality of Ocozocoautla de Espinoza and boasts a variety of thriving diverse coffees on its six enchanting “pantes.” Each cherry is meticulously and lovingly hand selected. And the family members work in unity and harmony to bring you an exquisitely crafted and flavorful coffee. This spectacular lot was grown at an altitude of 1640 meters above sea level, hand harvested, then fermented for 24 hours in a tank. It is then slowly and meticulously dried for about three weeks on African raised beds. This process allows greater airflow and very importantly no uncontrolled fermentation.
Urth Caffé is proud and honored to be able to share this very special micro lot with you, our treasured guests. Available for a limited time, you can order online here, or pick up a bag at your favorite café.
